Among the captured at Roanoke Island, is Dr. W. O. Shepherdson, well known as “Bohemian,” correspondent of the Richmond Dispatch.

Maj. Lawson was severely wounded and is a prisoner.  Capt. O. J. Wise is reported dead.

Col. Henningson and his artillery were at Elizabeth City, and have removed to Edenton.

All our guns in the Batteries were spiked before surrendering to the Yankees.
